 DESIGN BRIEF: Build a sail for maximum strength, whilst keeping weight to a minimum. The Wave CLASSIC is a modern twist of the traditional wave sail concept - we have combined the 4 batten layout, durability and power of a classic wave sail, with the most up to date materials and shaping techniques. Not as mast specific as other sails in the range, it is ideal for those wanting the minimum of fuss, where mast / sail compatibility or strength may be of issue. The result is a softer, forgiving sail with plenty of low-end grunt to power you through the break, and the strength to deal with the consequences when you don't make a move on the set of the day? Both the physical weight and feel of the Wave CLASSIC is extremely light, due to the high tech material selection and only 4 battens. This helps give the sail a very soft and forgiving feel?making landing aerial maneuvers easy. The PVC window, double width seaming, internal Kevlar reinforcement and zero monofilm content combine to make this the toughest sail in the SEVERNE line up.
